New School Schedule
While we are all trying to get through these very unsure times. We are trying to do what is best for our students and not overwhelm them, but still be able to successfully educate them.
After Governor Holcomb’s statement today, we know we will be out of school until at least May 1st, and students will not be required to take the IRead, ILearn and Istep 10.
We will follow the schedule below:
March 23-27 – Spring Break as scheduled
March 30 – April 3 – eLearning week as scheduled
April 6 – April 10 – Students will be off and we will be using the flexibility grant by Governor Holcomb for these days.
April 13 – 17 – eLearning week
April 20 – 24 – Students will be off and we will be using the flexibility grant by Governor Holcomb for these days.
April 27 – May 1 – eLearning Week
Teachers will be available during the eLearning days during regular school hours to answer any questions or concerns the students may have. Please reach out to them, they are here to help and we want to make sure that no one is falling behind.
Please contact Coach Paro with any Chrome Book issues and we will continue to offer days for any chrome book repairs needed. His email address is [email protected].
We will be canceling/postponing the Chicago (8th grade) and Space Camp (5th grade) trips. We do not want these students to miss out on these opportunities, we will be taking the 5th grade students in the Fall when they are 6th graders and the 8th graders in the Fall as well when they are in 9th grade. You will be contacted by your class sponsors directly regarding the financial portion. You will be given the choice to roll over your payment to the Fall, or you may request a refund now if you wish. Please correspond directly with the class sponsors.
We will still be taking the 2020-21 – 5th & 8th graders next year at their regular time in the spring.
Prom has been postponed to a later undetermined date, we will keep everyone posted as things progress.
Alice in Wonderland has been postponed as well to an undetermined date, again we will keep everyone posted.
We are all in uncharted territory, and we are doing the best we can with the situation we are facing. Please reach out if there is anything we can do to help during this time.
